Arthur & Janie Lindsey
Children's Ministry
Arthur Lindsey Sr. was born and raised in Una, South Carolina. After graduating from high school he entered the U.S. Navy and served for three years. He attended Rutledge Business College and graduated from Spartanburg Technical College. Janie Rice Lindsey was born and raised in Pleasant Falls, a small community near Roebuck, South Carolina. She attended USC-Spartanburg and Converse College and graduated from Spartanburg Technical College.
Married since 1975, Art and Janie are the parents of three children. Both accepted Jesus as their Savior as teenagers and began their ministry as Youth Directors in 1993. The Lindseys recognize the importance of Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Their ministry includes leading a staff of teachers and helpers whose purpose is to teach the Word of God to our children so they can lead a God-filled life and serve Him.
